The following are guidelines only. Some appliances may vary. Remove all packaging before cooking.
To oven cook: preheat the oven to 200 degrees C/Fan 180 degrees C/Gas Mark 6. Place drumsticks on a baking tray and cook in the centre of the oven for 35-40 minutes, turning half way through cooking time.
For an authentic BBQ taste: Place drumsticks on the barbecue for the last 5 minutes of cooking time turning frequently, to avoid burning.
Ensure food is piping hot, cooked throughout, juices run clear and no pink colour remains before serving.
Do not reheat.
Not suitable for microwave cooking.
Packed in a protective atmosphere.
Safety: Keep raw poultry separate from cooked foods. Dispose of packaging carefully. Wash all surfaces, cutting boards, utensils and hands after handling raw poultry. do not wash raw poultry.
Storage instructions: Please see front of pack to check if this product is suitable for home freezing.
If pack states "Not Suitable for home freezing": Keep refrigerated between -2°C and +4°C. Once opened use within 24 hours and by the 'use by' date, and cook as above.
If pack states "Suitable for home freezing": Freeze as soon as possible after purchase, and always before the 'use by' date. To defrost the product prior to use, place in a refrigerator until thoroughly defrosted, do not defrost in a microwave. Once defrosted, do not refreeze. Then cook from a chilled state as per cooking instructions above.
